Orchestras
Megan is a proud member of many amazing orchestras and ensembles. Below is some information about her main orchestras:
Triorca
The Triorca Orchestra was founded in 2010, and is made up of members from Norfolk County Youth Orchestra, England; Landesjugendorchester, Germany; and Isidor Bajic Music School, Serbia; and their alumni. Together, members from each country make one amazing orchestra, conducted by Nicholas Daniels and Andrew Morley. Each year the members from Triorca travel to one of the three countries for a week-long course, finishing with a spectacular concert. Most recently, Triorca came to Norfolk, England, where our concert consisted of Tchaikovsky’s 5th Symphony, Peter and the Wold, in which Megan played the famous flute part, and Korngold’s Violin Concerto with amazing Violinist Julia Hwang! In Summer 2019 Triorca will return to Novi Sad, Serbia, for another amazing concert. The Triorca Trust is a registered charity, whose purpose is to provide grants and support the young musicians selected to play in the international youth orchestra.
